I’ve received a couple of questions about how to create GIFs for Instagram. There are many ways to do this, but my favorite is to use a program I’m already familiar with — Photoshop. In Instagram, you can’t upload a normal GIF file. It won’t animate. So, in order to make your animation work on Instagram, you will have to create a movie file, namely an .mp4 file.
